Why do I need ClimaGuard SPF when low-E glass blocks UV rays?
• Low-E windows do reduce more of the UV rays than standard windows. However, low-E glass products are all different, and even the low-E products that claim the lowest UV transmission numbers don’t reduce fading damage to household furnishings as well as ClimaGuard SPF. To slow down fading the most, it’s important to block at least 99% of the UV rays.
