Why do I loose the channels sometimes?
There are 2 major reasons for loosing a channel: No signal or a bad quality of signal from the dish: This could be due to bad weather, in which case, the signal will automatically restore when the sky becomes clear – unless the dish permanently moves due to heavy winds. Alternatively due to misalignment of the dish, faulty LNB, rusted cable connectors or a faulty cable. These may need a technician’s visit to restore the services. Smartcard not active for the channel It could be that your subscription is expired or your smartcard does not have the latest encryption keys to open the subscribed channels. If you are sure that your subscription is active, leave the decoder ON for a few minutes on one of your subscribed channels and if the channel does not come ON, please call your distributor and request for a smartcard reauthorization or renew you subscription if it is expired.
