The cartridges are originally manufactured for one-time use only. In the case of the cartridges with the nozzle on the body of the cartridge, such as HP, Lexmark and Canon, both the nozzle and the ink refill hole are bonded to the body with two-sided tape. Thus, if you are too quick to refill or adjust the air pressure, you may cause the adhesive material to become ineffective, in turn making the cartridge useless. Please do take your time.
