Why do I have to fill out the office form for maintenance instead of leaving a message on the answering machine or dropping a written note through the mail slot?
The maintenance staff must have your written permission to enter your apartment. When you sign the maintenance form at the office, it gives us permission to enter and it lets you know that we have seven days to make any needed repairs. Also, when you come in to fill out the form, we can make sure that we completely understand what the problem is before we show up to do any repairs.
