Why do I have to answer a silly question or read and retype jumbled letters to register or search the boards?
The purpose of the question and the jumbled letters is to prevent automated spammers or “spambots” from gaining access to PhinisheD. The image is difficult to read for people so that it is impossible to read for computers. You need only face this issue once, when you register. After you’ve registered, you’ll be able to log straight in and be recognized by the board, and you won’t be asked to decode the jumbled image when you want to search the boards.
