Why do I have a Student Homepage on my WebCT course?
One of the tools that is included with WebCT is the Student Homepages tool. The instructor of any WebCT course may add this tool to their course if they wish. Once added it allows students to make homepages for themselves in the course. Typically it is used as an assignment or to create small ‘tell us a little about yourself’ type pages. If the tool is placed in the course it will be available to all students who are in that course regardless of whether they themselves use it or not. Unfortunately, there is no way to remove a specific student’s name from the listing.
