Why do I get the error message: Accounting Year End Date Invalid: It cannot be later than 01/04/09?
For an annual report, the accounting period end date must be the last accounting period ending date for federal income tax purposes in the year before the year the report is originally due. WebFile allows an accounting year end date of January 4 of the report year to accommodate entities using 52-53 week accounting rules.
