Why do I get the error E_GC2803 on the server and E_CL2784 on the client when trying to connect to the server using ingres net from the client?
This may be because you do not have the relevant protocol switched on in the config.dat or there is a bridge server configured and running that is listening in on the same port as the net server. The workaround is not to start the bridge server (set count to 0 in CBF), or change the listen address of the bridge server.
