There are sinus passages around your eyes and when you get a sinus infection it can feel as though you have a pain behind your eye. Try some hot packs on your face and forehead and see if that helps. If the pain persists I would reccommend that you see a Dr.

Pain behind the eye must be taken care of, as it could be an hypertension of the eye, although other conditions , as migraine, allergic reactions, conjunctivitis, could also cause the same problem.
