Why do I get an InvalidFolder error in MyUA when accessing email?

0

Some folks who have been directed to use MyUA will run into an issue when trying to access their email due to an “Invalid Folder”. This is related back to the server transition and the fact that some accounts need to have some folder re-subscribed to. The InvalidFolder error message will look something like this: This is a known behavior as a result to a transition that was made last fall. If you receiving this message, you are one of the “lucky” ones: this still affects a very few accounts. To access your UAS email immediately, try our new and improved webmail at http://mail.uas.alaska.edu. (This will NOT have this error.) To resolve the error below in order to access email through MyUA simply visit http://uas.alaska.edu/pub/subscribe and sign in. This will run a script to fix the error. When completed, close and reopen MyUA, and you should find things working.
