When a file is created on sjpc, its permissions do not permit anyone outside the creator’s group to read the file. However, WinSCP can automatically change these permissions when a file is transferred. Open WinSCP and click Options > Preferences > Transfer. In the Upload options area click the Set permissions box and change the permissions to rw-r–r– (+x) and click OK.
