A. Prior to December 8, 2007, ISC recommended SwiftView for viewing both PCL and TIFF files. Because SwiftView requires a license stamp to be embedded in the documents it opens, ISC had been including this stamp in PCL and TIFF files that we sent out to our customers. However, SwiftView is no longer our recommend tool for viewing files, and we are no longer embedding a SwiftView license stamp in the documents we send out. If you have been using SwiftView to view TIFF files, you will need to switch to a different viewer. Most computers have a TIFF viewer already installed (such as Imaging for Windows), in which case you only need to associate the TIFF file extension with the included viewer.
