Why do I get an error message when trying to access the class list or wait list or e-mail the students of a course through the Faculty Dashboard?
This is a known issue and will be fixed in a future release of the Banner product. Instructors will see one of the following Faculty Dashboard error messages if they are teaching at least one large course for which the list of e-mail addresses is larger than 4000 characters: Error Report Channel ID: u13l1n64 Message: encountered problem while trying to complete rendering Error type: General error (code 0) Problem type: Runtime exception (code -1) Error message: org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: An invalid XML character (Unicode: 0x0) was found in the element content of the document. or Error: LI_DASHBOARD DEFAULT ORA-19202: Error occurred in XML processing ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small ORA-06512: at “BANINST1.
