Why do I get a “user name & password don’t match an account” error when I synchronize to the ClearSync Server?
This error indicates that you either entered an invalid ClearSync User Name & Password during your first attempt to synchronize to the ClearSync Server or you are accessing the Internet through a firewall or proxy server that is not configured to allow communications with the ClearSync Server. If you confirm that you are entering a valid User Name & Password and you are connecting to the Internet through a firewall or proxy server that has been configured to allow HTTP communications over port 80 in both directions, setting a Setting a Proxy Exception (Top FAQ #7) may help. If that doesn’t resolve the problem, please contact ClearSync Support for assistance.
