Why do I get a “Server Connection Error” when I try to create a Zix Signature or send a ZixMail message?
Home users: Please check to make sure you are connected to the Internet. If you continue to get this error, the most common reason is a personal firewall running on your PC. If you have a personal firewall installed, please try temporarily disabling the firewall to see if this resolves the issue. If the firewall is blocking your ability to connect to the Zix Signature Server please make sure the firewall is configured to pass traffic over HTTP port 80 to and from wwss.zixmail.com. For more information on configuring your firewall, please contact your firewall manufacturer. Corporate users: The most common reason for this error is a network firewall or proxy server that is blocking traffic to or from our server over port 80. Please contact us a support@zixcorp.com if you need further assistance.
