WHY DO I GET A SECURITY WARNING WHEN DOWNLOADING THE DESKTOP DIGITAL EDITIONS (.exe version)?
We virus check and digitally sign the Digital Editions before release, verifying DigitalDM as the Publisher. The security box is there to certify that the software has not been tampered with after its release. If someone has tried to manipulate the Digital Editions, the security warning will alert you.
