Why do I get a “LaunchProtect” warning when I open a Word attachment?
It is possible for Word files to contain macro viruses, so Qualcomm has built a warning mechanism into Eudora. If you keep your virus software up-to-date and verify that incoming attachments are from a trusted source, you may choose to disable the “LaunchProtect” warning messages. Choose Tools | Options | Extra Warnings and de-select the following check boxes: Launch a program from a message and Launch a program externally. Exit Eudora, locate and delete EuShlExt.dll and then reboot your computer.
