Why do i crave chocolate and junk food when i get back from school?
Hello. Perhaps you crave sugary foods or quick food because you are very hungry and your body is crying out for quick energy and strength. There may be many reasons for this, but most likely: (1) You are not getting a sufficient lunch at school (not enough calories, or not a balanced meal, or not one that offers enough energy) (2) You use so much energy at school (perhaps too much sports, running about, etc) that by the time you get home you feel tired and need a quick boost of energy. Quick food and sugary foods can offer this. (3) Perhaps you just enjoy quick foods/sugary foods because of the taste or how they make you feel – sugar/salt can be very addictive. They can also be unhealty, so try to have a balanced diet. There are other alternatives too, but these are probably the main reasons. I hope this helps.
