Why do I continue to receive a copy of my Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statement in the mail if I signed up to receive copies online only?
If you have not signed up to have your claim reimbursement check directly deposited to your bank account, or if the banking information you previously provided to us has changed or is invalid, you will continue to receive an Explanation of Benefits statement each time a check is mailed to you. Direct Deposit allows Harvard Pilgrim Health Care to deposit your reimbursement checks directly into the bank account of your choice. If your employer offers Direct Deposit, you can enroll in the Claims & Account section, or contact your employer to do so. Our process ensures the confidentiality of your account information.
