Unlike oil additives, Enviro-Save is a metal treatment. Enviro-Save is compatible with gasoline, diesel and oil. The fluids in the engine are used only to carry the Enviro-Save resin to all of the bearing surfaces reached by those fluids. The Enviro-Save added to the fuel treats the top end of the engine, while the Enviro-Save added to the crankcase treats the rest of the engine.
