Why do humans require a cardiovascular system?
Humans need a cardivascular system for the transport of nutrients, wastes, gases and hormones. The human circulatory system consists of blood, vessels and the heart which acts as a pump to push blood to long distances. Worms on the other hand might have no circulatory system at all like the tape worms which exchanges things through its surface. Other worms have different circulatory systems according to their type.
