Why do hearing people get impatient with deaf people?
My friend is deaf in one ear and it makes me so mad when people make fun of her for it. We were watching a movie in Drivers Education class and there was this high pitched ringing noise that was bothering her but nobody else. The teacher shut it off because it bothered her so badly. The kids in our class were complaining and told her to “start hearing”. It was so mean. THe teacher gave all of those kids extra homework and they deserved it.
