Why do guinea pigs squeak and can they if handled alot become very tame.?
guinea pigs (Cavies) are the most social animals to keep as pets they squeak to communicate and will do this when they see or hear you when handled they become very tame quickly and this make them excellent pets for children they will come to you to be handled although you need to handle them gently and will sit with you stroking them for ages I would recommend geting them from a breeder as pet shops charge the earth a breeder will sell you one for a fiver
