Why do girls hate it when guys joke around?
3564 jrose 8 months ago I guess you pick the wrong girls to joke with? Maybe it’s because I was raised with my brother and my dad always teasing and joking around with me and I have a lot of guy friends who do the same, but I enjoy a good joke. Usually I love joking around with my friends, with the guys at work, and with a person I’m dating. Sometimes guy humour isn’t to my taste (it can be a little raunchy), but I rarely get p*ssed off by it. Even if they offend me, I’m not going to fly off the handle, if we’re casual friends I might not say anything at all. If we’re close or we’re dating, I’ll say something to let them know it bothers me if they keep joking about it, but not make it a big deal. In most cases, people don’t set out to be offensive or mean and don’t realize they have been until you bring it up so I see no need to get angry right away. If they continue to do it after I’ve said something, well then that’s just insensitive and I feel I have every right to be angry. Of cour
