Why do Gays hate Rick Warren?
I could care less one way or another about Rick Warren — I do not believe he supports gay rights, but he is more moderate than many of those on the Right. I believe your question probably relates to the issues surrounding President-Elect Obama having Reverend Warren give the invocation at his inauguration. It would be silly for any of us (I am gay) to be upset about that, given that the President-Elect’s most consulted spiritual adviser during the campaign was the Right Reverend V. Gene Robinson, the Anglican (Episcopal) bishop of New Hampshire — and an openly gay, partnered man. I very much doubt that anyone much wastes time hating Rick Warren. You are making a misstatement however, which I believe you probably would prefer corrected, since you seem like the rational type.
