Why do foreigners tend to be terrorists and Americans freedom fighters?
It’s a matter of political rhetoric. The right wing defines anyone who dares to oppose them when they start killing people as a terrorist. And anyone who commits murder for teir “cause” as a “freedom fighter.” For example: >In 1996 a religious fanatic, Eric Rudolph, killed and injured over 100 Americans in Atlanta (the “Olympic Park bombing”) because he wanted to oppose a woman’s right to choose. The cons hailed him as a hero and helped him hide from authorities for 5 years. The Oklahoma City bombers were likeewise members fo the right wing. They tried to make martyrs out of Ramos and his buddy for shooting an unarmed man in the back because the guy happened to be an illegal immigrant. They supoorted Bush sending Blackwater–hired mercenaries–to Iraq to gun innocent men and women down in the streets of Bagdhad. They also support torture, imprisonment without trial, and all the other barbarism s they condemn in others. Bottom line–a terrorist is a terrorist. And it does not matter if
