Why do fondant cakes cost more?
All my cakes are made from scratch result in a dense rich cake, with no preservatives. Cake is covered with sweet fondant with a layer of buttercream underneath. Buttercream is made with sugar and butter {and NOT shortening}, it’s more expensive to make but worth every penny. I only use the best madagascar vanilla and rich cocoa and the difference in reflected in the taste. A lot of time, and I mean a lot goes into making a Cupcakes Under Cover creations, days of work go into your creation from planning to baking to designing. All my figures and decorations are made by hand. I’m not a supermarket {premade frozen cakes} so my cakes cost more to produce.
