Why do files under the System Volume Information folder show up as Excluded in PerfectDisk?

0

When you analyze or defragment a drive using PerfectDisk on Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows XP x64 or Windows Server 2003, files in the System Volume Information folder show up as Excluded. System Restore points (and the clusters that they comprise) are NOT allowed to be defragmented/moved by defragmenters. PerfectDisk specifically excludes restore points in the System Volume Information folder from being defragmented online and at boot time. Please see Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 932790 for more information.
