Why do extra spaces sometimes appear in the messages?
The Guestbook supports posts in plain text or HTML. When you post in plain text, any newline characters you put in (using the “Enter” or “Return” keys) are converted automatically into paragraph marks. Because of a bug in the GB script, this is done twice if you preview your entry (using the “Preview” button) and then accept the post from the preview screen, which therefore adds twice as much space as you were expecting between your lines. You can avoid the problem by always going “Back” from the Preview page once you are happy with your post, and making the “real” post from the original entry page (or by not using the Preview feature at all).
