Why do Enhanced Listings show up first in the search results?

Enhanced Listings show up first in the search results to give directory members who pay to advertise with us a chance to feature higher in the search results than non-paying members. The results are ordered so that relevant Enhanced Listings are shown first, followed by Bold Listings and then Free Listings. All search results that are returned to directory users are also sorted by post code to ensure that only relevant results are displayed.
