Why do duotones print too dark or not print the correct color?
Postscript CRD color management must be enabled on the CL21 and the duotone must be saved using an embedded CRD via Photoshop. There are three color management settings on the CL21 in the driver: No color management, Printer Unique Color Management and Postscript CRD Color Management. Select Postscript CRD Color Management. When saving .eps duotones in Photoshop 5.5 and 6.0, select the option for “Postscript Color Management.” You only see this box when you save the file as an .eps. This will not work if the duotone is saved as any other format because there is no way to embed a CRD using other file formats.
