Why do divers immediately shower off after each dive?
It serves two purposes. Yes, they need to wash the chlorine off and it also warms them. The water in the pool is usually quite cool and the temp in the natatorium is very warm. They have to stand around waitng for their other dives. Divers do 5 dives and there is quite a bit of wait time between dives. The shower helps to regulate their body temp.
