We leave the timing of EX talent management exercise up to departments. Although there is flexibility around this, we have set a December 31st deadline for submission of ADM questionnaires and those with ADM potential, so that the Visiting ADM may have time to complete departmental talent management visits prior to the Committee of Senior Officials (COSO) meeting, which normally occurs in March. In addition, we are collecting the questionnaires for potential ADMs for December 31st because in the past COSO and the Human Resources Management Advisory Committee (HRMAC) have expressed an interest in discussing the ADM pipeline, so we want to be prepared should they decide to go that route this year. If departments choose to use the optional data collection system, we have asked that they send us the rest of the EX questionnaires by March 13.
