Why do delays occur with ipEther232 during serial transmission?
Fig. 1 shows the delays during a serial direct connection. Fig. 1 An additional slight delay is caused with the serial connection to ipEther232 during transmission over the network. This delay is due to the packing and unpacking of packages as well as their running time in the Ethernet. These short delays occur because they are not transmitted in the network byte by byte but rather in formed Ethernet blocks. See Fig. 2 Fig.
