Why do conservatives think that they should be permitted in a 1st world nation tax free?
I’ll keep it simple on this red herring. Conservatives tend to believe that individuals should pay their own way for individual needs. We recognize that individual citizens can’t pay for interstates, bridges, police, or the military. At the same time, we do think most adults should be able to work a job, and with their income, pay for their utilities, health care, food, housing…and yes, even education. We don’t understand why we have to work and pay for our family, and also pay for complete strangers who refuse to put in the same time and effort we put in. I hope this is easy for you to understand.
We don’t think we should be tax free, we think that the government needs to be better stewards with our tax money. Do you realize that when you add all of your taxes together you are paying almost 50% of your paycheck to one form of government or another. That’s too much to me, besides I pay for my own way why can’t I expect other able bodied Americans to do the same. I really don’t want to see any more entitlement programs or an increase in the entitlement programs we already have.
