Why do conservatives continue to oppose FREE health care?
Health care is available to everyone, rich or poor. The quality of that health care is widely dissimilar, depending on which end of the scale you are talking about. The poor get only lip service and emergency room care, which makes their health care costs 3 to 5 times what it would if they were uninsured. That means it costs all of us who do have insurance a terrible price, with inflation rates in multiples of everything else and a system that is rapidly collapsing under its own weight. But even the wildest liberal knows it won’t be free. We do, however, believe that it will cost less than the 17% of the GDP it is currently draining from our economy. There are many from both sides of the aisle that are opposed to legalizing marijuana. For some it involves hypocrisy, as they will accept one mind altering drug but not another. But for most people, it is because they buy the lies that have been spread since the ’40’s by the interests who benefit from keeping it illegal.
