A. That’s a great question, but I think the real question is “why don’t more companies practice lean manufacturing?” Lean manufacturing is a tool that helps increase efficiency and reduces waste. The easiest way to achieve those goals is to get simple and get smart. First, simplify the features to what the customer wants, leaving out what they don’t want, and make the production “smart” by monitoring production precision. Q: Can you walk us through how it all works? A: Lean manufacturing may sound technical, but it’s really a simple process. First, look at the current way of doing things, and then find a better way.
