Why do christians worship Jesus and Marys Idol?
Hiya Hana, I’m sorry but I’m gonna have to disagree with Lilmisssun22. God says in Exodus 20:3-5… “You must not have any other gods against my face. You must not make for yourself a carved image or a form like anything that is in the heavens above or that is on the earth underneath or that is in the waters under the earth. You must not bow down to them nor be induced to serve them, because I Jehovah your God am a God exacting exclusive devotion, bringing punishment for the error of fathers upon sons, upon the third generation and upon the fourth generation.” So here Jehovah God is saying He does not want us worshiping ANYONE or ANYTHING other than Him. Mary is a carved image. Mary is someone else, other than God. If God really wanted us to worship His son, Jesus, or Mary, He would have said so. You are soooo right Hana. Christian should not be worshiping Jesus. Jesus does not want us the worship Him. He wants us to worship His father, Jehovah God.
