Why do Christians think the Nephilim are just mythology but Jesus is true?
Good question. I know Christians who believe the Nephilim were real, I really did not know about them until about 6 months ago. I may have heard of them but did not remember. I’m not sure when it comes to a lot of the Old Testament, I don’t say “I can’t believe that” or Absolutely, it is exactly what it says”, I kind of stick with what I know is true, like Jesus. (You’re right) If they were really ‘giants’, maybe they were sometime like the Watusi of Africa who are often 7′ tall or more. After all, the average man even in the Middle Ages was something like 5’5 (Don’t quote me on that), in ancient times maybe even smaller, middle Eastern people are sometimes shorter than some Europeans. If ancient people saw an NBA or NFL sized human, they might think he was something ‘other worldly’ and if they were enemies, well, it would be even worse.
