Why do Christians teach that blind faith is a virtue?
They don’t – because blind faith is not a virtue. It’s a roadblock to true faith. Growing up as a Christian, I was always taught that honest questioning of your beliefs is a very good, wise thing. The Bible says, “Know the truth and the truth shall set you free.” If you believe Christianity teaches that blind faith is a virtue, you’ve got some badly flawed information. That’s what cults, like Scientology, do. Christianity is not a cult.
