Why do Christians brag about miracles in the bible as proof of gods existence?
Bible quotes were how they were indoctrinated, so they think it’ll work for everyone else. “I thought that was what made evolution true – because someone wrote it in a book.” No. People believe it because it’s a very well supported theory. If you can’t understand it then that’s fine, stupidity isn’t a crime. However, please don’t say those of us who’ve actually studied it are just accepting it because someone wrote it in a book. If you really think that’s the only evidence in favour of it, instead of being a logical necessity once you’ve established DNA codes for characteristics and DNA can mutate (not to mention the overwhelming amount of evidence), then you’re sorely mistaken. This also goes out to the fellow who said that archaeologists don’t know anything about the past: ignorance is a weakness on your part, not the theory (or methods for archaeology) you’re ignorant of.
