Why do Christians believe bible prophecy is coming true, when they have been saying that forever?
maybe they have said that because it is true the bible says that in the last days that there will be more natural disasters than ever before if you look there is more natural disasters that have happened from 2000-2009 than in all of the years before the day of the lord is soon approaching i would suggest reading up on it.
It is true that people have believed this in the past and have even set actual dates for the second coming of Christ; however, no man, nor angel or Christ knows…only the Father knows. The Mayan calendar ends Dec. 21, 2012 and many are deceived into believing this will be the day of the end of the world but that won’t happen either. For those who have studied Bible prophecy, we believe we are living in the latter days because only a handful of prophecies are remaining before the Second Advent. The rapture, we believe, can occurr at any moment and no other prophecy is needed to be fulfilled for the rapture to happen. Matthew 24 &25, Mark 13 and Luke 21 teaches that we can discern the signs of the times. Christ rebuked the Pharisees for not understanding the “signs of the times” which applies to us today.
