Why do Chimerstry illusions affect Chimera?
Chimera can be described as spirits made of dream-goop, instead of ephemera or ecto-plasma. In the WoD, the Dreaming is a place which can be visited just like the Spirit world or Shadowlands. The revised Ravnos Clanbook reveals that items created with Chimerstry manifest on several planes of existence. A sword created with Chimerstry also manifests in the Periphery, the Dreaming, Spirit world, Shadowlands, etc. While an illusion in the material world, the sword is as real to a chimera as another Chimera’s teeth. (Fae also have dreaming-reflections in the Periphery, allowing them to be attacked by Chimerstry illusions.
