Why do chefs wear stripped pants?
Different chefs wear different types of pants the white checkered pants are to hide food that may splatter or spill on you ( in theory )and make you look presentable for the guest as well as the stripes a lot of it has to do with the restaurant theme and chef or owner of the restaurant. But the checkered pants does not show flour on them the way black does but they do show every thing else trust me.
