Why do certain buildings have certain colors?
Campus buildings are distinguished by colors overlaid onto the map: purple is academic and administrative buildings, orange is residential buildings and teal is fraternity and sorority houses. You can remove these designations by clicking “Remove Buildings Overlay.” Also, you can change the darkness of the overlay color by selecting a different opacity (40% is lightest, 100% is darkest).
