Why do cats stare at people lol?
They see you as their owner so if you stare at them back, you will notice that they look away first in a staring contest, that means you are in control and they recognise they are subordinate to you – in cat psychology terms this is meant to be true – but I am more inclined to believe the people who say cats own you not the other way around, so perhaps that theory is a load of rubbish!
