Why do cats chase laser pointer?
They think the light on the wall is a living thing. They dont realize how it is being projected out of the laser pointer. Cats are crazy about bright, small, moving things. (their instincts have an impact on this, as a small moving thing in the wild would be food. A rat for example.) Remember, they have a smaller brain than we do. They could play with a feather with a bell attached to it all day and never get bored.
