Why do Buddhists believe what they do?

0

We believe the teachings of the Buddha are wise, the goal of Buddhism is to end suffering in the world and to promote peace and lovingkindness. In the process we awaken our true selves, our bodies and sensory input create an illusion of separation from the Self, and when we rise above our limited minds and bodies and become enlightened and realize our true selves, the Oneness of the universe, we enter the state of Nirvana and the sensation of enlightenment and Nirvana is just as real to us as the Holy Spirit is to you. EDIT: FOR EFFEM Sometimes a question asked from a place of anger or resentment yields a realization that is most powerful when answered.
