Why do Buddhist build temples and holy objects rather than carrying our charitable work in the society?
For charitable work one will need a lot of investment, effort and manpower to benefit even small group of people. But by building the holy objects and temples, one can benefit all the sentient beings in the universe because it radiates tremendous positive waves and brings peace and happiness. Temples and holy objects are said to help move the mind in the right ways and inspire one to practice kindness.
