Why do British job applications always list education qualifications and schools attended?

Well you only need to list the qualifications you had in secondary school and qualifications you have gained since. This information is still relevant, it shows what level you were at then and what you’ve done since then. Thereby showing progress or not. But practically speaking, they can’t give out different application forms to people over a certain age can they? So you just have to fill out the information like everyone else. Put in your work experience there’s nothing stopping you writing that down, stating what you learned in it and how those skills are transferable to the job you’re applying for. Good luck.
